About You

As a Charge Nurse at HC-One, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the care of all residents in your area of the care home. When the Home Manager and Deputy Manager are absent, you will also manage the home. Your duties will include following up on resident health concerns, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining records to meet statutory requirements—always prioritizing the wellbeing of residents.

You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and understand the commitment to professional practice through the standards set by the NMC. You’ll also be passionate about mentoring and sharing your knowledge, acting as a practice supervisor and assessor for students. You will value effective communication, both verbal and written, and model professional behavior at all times.

Above all, you will deliver a person-centered approach to care, advocating for the residents and their families. Safeguarding is essential in our work, and you will be vigilant in recognizing signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, knowing the necessary actions to take in the event of any concerns.

Visa Sponsorship: Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for applicants with 2 years of experience who currently reside in the UK. Please note, we cannot accept applications from candidates living outside the UK at this time.
