JOB SUMMARY

 

Electrical Engineer (Visa sponsorship available)
£45,000 – £52,000 (OTE 60K) + £7,000 car allowance + healthcare + 12% pension + hybrid
Aberdeen, Scotland.

Are you an Electrical Engineer with Functional Safety experience searching for an exciting opportunity to develop the most important safety control systems for a company that provides unparalleled advancement, training, and autonomy?

In this post, you will be in charge of developing the hardware and wiring for unique, hardwired safety systems used to automate industrial processes in the manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and oil and gas industries. You will go on-site once a month or so to help with the safety system’s commissioning. This might occur on offshore rigs or elsewhere in the UK.

This position is ideal for an Electrical Engineer with Safety experience seeking a hybrid career with a global industry leader.

The role:

  • Designing Distributed Control Systems for Industrial Automation
  • Flexible hybrid employment with up to three days at home per week.
  • Travelling nationwide and offshore to assist with the commissioning of new systems for up to two weeks at a time.
  • Visa sponsorship is offered for appropriate candidates.

 

The person:

  • Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Safety Engineer, or related
  • Understanding the TÜV Nord Functional Safety or IEC61508/61511 certifications
  • Understanding of 17th and 18th Edition wiring regulations
