We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced nurse to join our Children’s Safeguarding Team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. This role sits within our dedicated Integrated Safeguarding Team, where we are committed to ensuring every member of staff understands their safeguarding responsibilities and is equipped to improve services and outcomes for children and young people.

About the Role

In this vital position, you will:

• Provide expert safeguarding advice and support across the Trusts, with a focus on paediatrics and children’s services.
• Deliver safeguarding supervision and contribute to the design and delivery of safeguarding education.
• Work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to promote children’s rights and ensure their protection.
• Support multi-agency and multi-disciplinary working to strengthen child protection practices.

About You

We’re looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate nurse with:

• Proven experience in safeguarding children and working across agencies.
• Confidence in managing complex safeguarding issues within a healthcare setting.
• A genuine passion for protecting vulnerable children and supporting families.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and educate others.
