Senior Research Specialist – Stem Cell Technologies (Fixed-Term)

Location: University of Edinburgh
Contract: Full-time (35 hours/week), fixed-term for 48 months
Salary: Grade UE07 – £40,497 to £48,149 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Opportunity

This role offers a chance to make meaningful scientific contributions through the application of human stem cell technologies, including maintenance and differentiation protocols. You’ll be working alongside a talented and collaborative team, engaged in pioneering research that has the potential to transform lives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Developmental Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience in stem cell culture, maintenance, and differentiation
• A detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of working independently as well as within a team
