Job Introduction

This is an exciting time to join GamCare; we are looking for a Project Manager to join our online services team as we expand and develop our online support offerings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience project managing new and existing online support services. The function requires strong organisational and risk management abilities, as well as the ability to communicate confidently with a diverse variety of individuals (designers, developers, internal clients, and external vendors).


Role Responsibility


● Project management for new online support platforms, assuring project completion within time and resource constraints.

● Collaborate with our lived experience community to define and grow our offerings.

● Collaborate with internal data and quality colleagues to build effective data and usage procedures to ensure KPIs are proven.

● As the key point of contact for projects, collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders as well as external agencies/suppliers/developers.

● Lead regular stand-up meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. Ensure that communication is transparent and responsibilities are well defined.


The Ideal Candidate

As the successful candidate, you will be in charge of overseeing the project management of new and existing online support platforms and services, with a focus on improving the digital experience for our service users and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. GamCare’s Remote Services division presently provides support via an increasing number of channels, including the 24-hour National Gambling Helpline, chatrooms, forums, online appointments with practitioners and volunteer peer supporters, and an online guided self-help support programme. You will work with staff and volunteers, leveraging the power of lived experience to ensure projects are completed collaboratively.


Package Description:

Project Manager, Online Services

Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: £41,820 (£45,500 for residents of London and neighbouring counties).

Location: Working from home with monthly visits to the London office.
