Join HORIBA MIRA as an ATD Services Technician
Support ground-breaking vehicle safety testing at the forefront of automotive innovation.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented ATD Services Technician to become part of our Test Support Services team at HORIBA MIRA.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, calibration, maintenance, and installation of Crash Test Dummies (Anthropomorphic Test Devices). You’ll play a crucial part in enabling vehicle assessments across our safety departments, including those aligned with NCAP programmes.

Due to the nature of the equipment, this position involves a significant amount of manual handling.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing and calibrating crash test dummies for a variety of automotive safety tests
  • Maintaining and installing test equipment across multiple MIRA Safety departments
  • Supporting vehicle-based assessments for NCAP and other safety programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with technical standards and test requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
  • Comfortable with physical, manual handling tasks
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods (with notice where possible)

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
    (39 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch break each day)
    Flexibility may be required to accommodate workload demands.
