At our Hamilton branch, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to help deliver authentic, high-quality dishes and elevate the customer dining experience.

Role Summary

As a Chinese Chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing signature Indo-Chinese dishes that define the Oodles Wok experience. You’ll ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in every order, while supporting kitchen operations and contributing to a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indo-Chinese dishes (e.g., noodles, fried rice, chilli chicken, Manchurian, etc.)
• Ensure consistency in flavour, presentation, and portioning
• Follow standardised recipes and procedures set by the franchise
• Oversee food prep and support kitchen staff, especially during busy periods
• Maintain food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness at all times
• Monitor inventory and inform the manager of stock needs or shortages

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a chef role specialising in Chinese or Indo-Chinese cuisine
• Strong wok cooking skills and familiarity with Asian ingredients and spices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-paced environment
• Team-oriented with solid communication and leadership abilities
• Food hygiene certification is an advantage
• Must be eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available for suitable applicants)

• Monday to Friday and weekends
