Your Role in a Nutshell
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and forward-thinking Events Manager to join our Marketing, Communication & Engagement team at a truly exciting time. With the University’s 100th anniversary coming up in 2026, you’ll play a key role in shaping events that honour our history and celebrate our vision for the future.

From intimate dinners with key stakeholders to large-scale student recruitment events that welcome thousands of visitors, your work will showcase everything we stand for—community, sustainability, innovation, and impact.

You’ll be co-leading the Events Office, managing a varied events portfolio, and delivering high-quality experiences that reflect the University’s brand and strategic ambitions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be someone who can juggle multiple projects without missing a beat—and who genuinely enjoys working with others to make things happen.

Here’s what will help you succeed in this role:

  • Solid experience in planning and delivering events of all sizes
  • A sharp eye for detail and excellent time-management skills
  • Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and departments
  • A strategic approach—understanding how events contribute to the bigger picture
  • Familiarity with event systems and digital tools to streamline your work
