Join Our Team at Wirral Council
Now is an exciting time to be part of Wirral Council as we work toward ambitious goals. To meet our commitments to our residents, we need individuals who are ready to make a real difference. If you are passionate about improving lives and want to be a part of our change and improvement journey, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re currently seeking experienced Social Workers for our Adult Safeguarding (MASH) Team.
About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Adult Safeguarding (MASH) Team, you’ll be responsible for screening safeguarding concerns and carrying out Section 42 enquiries in line with Care Act duties. You will need to have the ability to build positive working relationships with service users and professionals, along with a strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
Our team is supportive and dedicated to staff development, providing you with the tools and opportunities to grow professionally. You’ll also have access to learning and development opportunities from a dedicated Professional Standards Team to support your practice and resilience building.
This is a chance to hone your risk management skills and work directly with vulnerable adults and their families to deliver outcomes that prioritize their wishes and views.
