Why is this function vital to CPI’s work?

We are looking for a Maintenance Support Operator for our Asset Engineering Team (AET), which prides itself on providing great service in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance assist Operator position is multi-skilled and expected to assist all CPI Technology Assets. The role will entail aiding the AET with routine operational duties such as target adjustments and other requests necessary for the day-to-day operation of platforms, as well as routine calibration checks and equipment cleaning. The candidate would be required to be adaptable and apply their general engineering talents to all of CPI’s engineering disciplines and technologies.

The successful candidate must be able to accept responsibility for their own personal development while also exhibiting a willingness to learn. Applicants must have the following abilities and competencies.

  • Hands-on craft abilities, including the ability to use hand and power tools for maintenance operations.
  • The capacity to understand and follow technical documentation.
  • Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to logically trace errors to their core cause and identify measures to solve the problem
  • Work and interact successfully in a collaborative setting, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to manage time effectively.
