What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our pharmacy team, your role will be varied, challenging, and rewarding. Main duties include:
- Accuracy checking of dispensed medications
- Supervising automated dispensary operations and supporting a team of technicians and assistants
- Ward-based medicines optimisation to enhance patient care
- Aseptic supervision and contributing to safe, high-quality service delivery
- Conducting audits and quality improvement projects
- Mentoring and supporting the development of Pharmacy Technicians, PTPTs, and assistants
- Participating in training and educational activities within the department
- Contributing to a Trust-wide pharmacy service that not only meets, but exceeds, patient and service user expectations
