The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence to join our growing Computer Science team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of AI education and research at York St John.

You’ll be a proven academic with a strong track record of research publications, successful funding applications, and academic leadership. In this role, you’ll:

• Deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in AI, machine learning, and related fields
• Supervise PhD researchers and mentor early-career academics
• Foster interdisciplinary partnerships across the university and externally with industry, academic, and community collaborators
• Contribute to the development of new programmes and university-wide initiatives advancing AI research and learning
