About the Department

The Business Analytics and Information Systems Department has a strong reputation for delivering research and teaching that is both rigorous and practical. The department is actively engaged in a variety of areas, including analytics, digital innovation, and enterprise systems.

We have recently launched the Centre of Excellence for AI Enterprise to strengthen our position as a thought leader in digital transformation.

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with expertise in business analytics, digital transformation, or artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, enterprise activities, and doctoral supervision.

Key areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Business and digital transformation
  • AI and enterprise innovation
  • Technology adoption and enterprise systems
  • Data-driven decision making

What We’re Looking For

  • A good first degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels
  • A developing or established research profile, with potential to secure external funding
  • Commitment to delivering research that has meaningful academic and societal impact
  • Ability to supervise PhD and/or DBA candidates

We particularly welcome candidates with research aligned to business or digital transformation who are interested in collaborative work within our AI-focused research centre.
