JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an excellent opportunity for a caring and compassionate Registered Manager with experience in effective staff supervision, leadership, and management, direct experience working with elderly people with dementia, and an NVQ Level 4/5 Diploma (or equivalent) in Leadership in Health & Social Care. A nursing qualification such as RGN/RMN would be advantageous. Undefined sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
– Be responsible to the registered provider for the day-to-day operation of the house.
– Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in older people’s or dementia care homes.
– Effective staff management skills
– Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with the home’s registration status and legal obligations.
– Enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and commitment to provide the highest level of service
– Need to be on call.
– Organised and hardworking
– Develop relationships with personnel to adequately support our residents.
– Staff rotation and annual leave planning
– Management, administration, and monitoring of medications
Salary is negotiable.

-Be in charge of dealing with CQC-related issues and engaging with Social Services in DOLS application and management.
