The Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead on identifying, developing, and securing new international collaborative education (TNE) partnerships that align with the University’s global ambitions. Using market intelligence and insight into international trends, you’ll proactively seek out opportunities and guide them from initial discussions through to full partnership agreements—ensuring everything is aligned with University policies and strategic priorities.
You’ll also play a vital role in overseeing due diligence processes, maintaining key contractual templates, and ensuring ongoing compliance across our TNE portfolio. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams—including academic Schools, Finance, Quality and other support services—while also building strong external relationships with partners, agencies, networks and regulatory bodies.
This role involves some international travel and will occasionally require flexibility to work evenings or weekends to meet the needs of global time zones and partners.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of international education. You should be confident managing complex projects and experienced in developing successful international partnerships.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A strong background in international education project management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects or programmes.
- Experience negotiating and developing strategic partnerships overseas.
- A knack for spotting and progressing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in meeting business development targets and KPIs.
- A solid understanding of global TNE trends and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diplomacy and professionalism.
