Senior Trials Manager
Location: University of Liverpool – Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC)
Contract: Fixed-term (12 months in the first instance)
Visa Sponsorship: Eligible under the Skilled Worker route
About the Role
The University of Liverpool is seeking a Senior Trials Manager to join the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC). In this key role, you will support the continued development of our clinical trials portfolio, ensuring robust quality management, regulatory compliance, and excellence in trial design, conduct, and oversight.
You will be instrumental in maintaining adherence to trial governance frameworks and will collaborate closely with LCTC’s core workstreams—trial management, statistics, data management, and information systems—to help deliver the Centre’s strategic and operational goals.
About You
We are looking for a professional with:
- A degree or equivalent qualification and relevant experience in clinical trial management
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and develop, implement, and monitor procedures in line with regulatory standards
- Strong understanding of clinical trials operating within UK and international regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational capabilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively across departments
