We are looking for skilled Engineers to join our team in Chichester & Selsey, West Sussex. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and optimizing some of the latest production technology in the food industry. For the right candidate, we offer visa sponsorship and are open to flexible shift arrangements, including day or night shifts only.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day maintenance and improvements to plant, assets, and services

Use engineering systems and processes effectively

Ensure all work meets food safety and health & safety standards

Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks and implement improved maintenance practices

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults efficiently

Proactively identify and resolve faulty processes

Maintain high product quality and GMP standards

Be the go-to person on shift, taking a lead role in operations

Manage budget and stock control, ensuring accurate shift documentation

Ensure all equipment, buildings, and operations are safe and compliant

Complete shift metrics and escalate issues to the Engineering Manager

What We Are Looking For:

Manufacturing experience (preferable)

Strong electrical or mechanical knowledge (or both), with a willingness to expand your expertise

Relevant engineering qualifications (minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent)

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

IT literate
