Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Phone Repairs Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing mobile phones to ensure they are restored to optimal condition. This role requires technical expertise in both hardware and software repairs, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair a wide variety of mobile phone issues, including screen damage, battery problems, software malfunctions, charging issues, and more.
Perform hardware repairs, such as screen replacements, battery swaps, motherboard repairs, camera fixes, and other component repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve both software and hardware issues to ensure devices are fully functional before returning them to customers.
Conduct thorough testing after repairs to verify that mobile devices meet the highest performance standards.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs, including parts used, time spent, and issues addressed.
Complete repairs in a timely manner, minimizing disruption for customers.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and solve complex repair challenges.
Stay current with the latest mobile phone technologies, repair tools, and techniques.
Address customer inquiries related to repairs, providing clear updates on the status and estimated completion times.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, keeping the work environment clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in mobile phone repairs, including both hardware and software troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of mobile phone components such as screens, motherboards, batteries, charging ports, and more.
Experience with popular mobile phone brands (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Huawei, etc.).
Proficiency in using repair tools such as soldering irons, screen separation machines, and diagnostic software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues in simple terms to non-technical customers.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet repair deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in mobile phone repairs or electronics preferred).
Desirable Skills:
Experience with software flashing, data recovery, and other advanced repair techniques.
Familiarity with mobile phone repair management systems or tracking software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: £20,000.00 – £30,000.00 per year
