Role Overview
The Electronic Repair Engineer is in charge of fault detection and diagnostics on analogue and digital circuits. In the Diagnostics Department, you will be able to interpret electronic schematics and troubleshoot at the component level. You will also have verifiable experience with test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes.
Key Accountabilities
- Fault detection at the component level in analogue and digital circuits
- Offer expert technical assistance to the Production Test department.
- Support the Production Testing team as needed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have prior experience dealing with RF circuits (UHF-Ka Band) and be conversant with Spectrum and Vector Network Analyzers. The candidate will have outstanding practical skills and the ability to identify faults at the component level.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience in a similar business.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the capacity to carry out successful diagnostic procedures.
- RF Testing and Measurement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
