Network Operations Engineer – Digital Services

Role: Network Operations Engineer
Department: Digital Services
Grade: 7 (£39,423 – £46,761 per annum)
Responsible to: Network Manager
Campus: Derry~Londonderry (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Purpose:
The Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for the development, management, support, and service quality of critical data and communications network infrastructure across the Jordanstown, Belfast, Coleraine, and Derry~Londonderry campuses. This includes overseeing on-campus edge, core, and data centre network services, as well as all wired and wireless configurations, management, and monitoring platforms.

There may also be a 12-month waiting list for similar roles within the Department or Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list to other areas of the University if necessary.
