About You

As a Charge Nurse at HC-One, you will oversee the care of all residents in your area of the care home. You’ll even step in to manage the entire home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. Whether you’re responding to health concerns, administering prescribed medications, or ensuring compliance with legal requirements, resident wellbeing will always be your top priority.

You’ll be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin, fully committed to upholding the professional standards set by the NMC. You’ll have a passion for mentoring colleagues and supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, will be key, as well as being a role model for professional behavior.

You will deliver person-centered care to our residents and their families, advocating for their needs. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and you must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect in any form and know how to address concerns, including escalating them if necessary. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and additional relevant training for their role.

We offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship to applicants with two years of experience who are currently residing in the UK. Please note we cannot accept applications from candidates outside of the UK at this time.
