Job Description

The successful candidate will report functionally to the EHS Leader and operationally to the Lead EHS Specialist. This role requires comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to support and promote a safe and compliant working environment and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert EHS guidance and support to production teams
  • Conduct audits in alignment with company standards and legal requirements
  • Develop, review, and maintain risk assessments
  • Support the EHS aspects of the Management of Change (MoC) process
  • Maintain EHS documentation and procedures, including updates within the Gensuite system
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams under the Framework 2.0 initiative
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through best practice sharing and effective communication
  • Participate in accident investigations, hazard identification, and risk reduction initiatives
  • Engage in environmental initiatives and sustainability efforts
  • Compile and report on key EHS metrics
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS training sessions

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC use
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Engineering or technical background
  • Willingness to support EHS efforts across multiple shifts

Desirable Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • IEMA certification
  • Experience in delivering EHS training or holding a relevant training qualification
