About the Role

The University of Warwick is excited to recruit three Impact Development Officers to join our expanding Research Impact team within Research & Impact Services (R&IS) – the central hub for research support across the university.

These new positions will play a key role in enhancing the University’s research impact by:

  • Providing tailored guidance and strategic support to researchers across disciplines
  • Helping develop a strong pipeline of REF impact case studies
  • Delivering one-to-one consultations, workshops, and training sessions
  • Supporting impact communication across various platforms
  • Contributing to the growth of an inclusive and collaborative impact culture, through initiatives such as peer mentoring and communities of practice

You’ll work closely with Research Impact Managers and academic colleagues, helping shape how Warwick’s research makes a difference in society, policy, industry, and beyond.

Research & Impact Services (R&IS) underpins Warwick’s world-leading research by offering a full suite of support including:

  • Research strategy and development
  • Grants and contracts management
  • REF and research impact support
  • Research culture and governance
  • Programme management of institutional research funding
  • Partnerships such as the Alan Turing Institute, City of Culture, and EUTOPIA

R&IS supports interdisciplinary collaboration and delivers the secretariat for nine formal University committees. The team works in a hybrid model, with a requirement to be on campus at least three days per week.
