As a Registered Nurse (RN12-NMC), you will be responsible for managing patients assigned to you, overseeing assessments, care planning, and delivery. You will also be professionally and legally accountable for the care provided.
In this role, you will work alongside your peers and team leader, contributing as an effective team member while also being capable of working independently. You will be involved in supervising pre-registration students and actively support collaborative working, liaising with other health and social care professionals and agencies.

In this role, you will lead and manage a Community Nursing Team aligned with GP practices. You will be responsible for managing a caseload and ensuring high-quality nursing care is provided to patients and families within the community. You will be part of an integrated primary/community health care team, collaborating with GPs, professionals, and statutory/voluntary agencies to deliver patient-centered care. As a District Nurse, you will work autonomously and lead the community nursing team.

Starting with NELFT: At NELFT, we place great importance on ensuring all new starters are fully supported and welcomed into the Trust. New employees join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive two-week induction program. This includes mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment. During this period, new starters will also meet the executive team and senior managers, and have opportunities to attend drop-in sessions focused on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction takes place at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period: This role is subject to a probationary period, though internal applicants are exempt unless they are currently in an ongoing probationary period or are part of the bank staff.
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: This position includes a High Cost Area Supplement, offering an additional 15% of the basic salary, with a minimum of £4,551 and a maximum of £5,735.
