JOB SUMMARY

Transact’s Marketing team is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager.

The Role

The Marketing Team is at the heart of the business, providing marketing support to promote the Transact service to financial advisers and keeping our clients up to date on innovations and advancements. You will be responsible for project management and delivery, as well as creating internal and external marketing communications.

This is a hands-on creative role in which you will collaborate with all departments throughout the organisation on the development, design, and management of online, social, research, and internal communications. You will lead and manage large-scale projects.

This position is based in London, although we use a hybrid working approach (at least two days per week in the London office) with a focus on work/life balance, employee well-being, and promoting a sense of belonging.

The key roles include:

• To handle marketing, internal and external communication for new product launches and service developments.
• To create and implement plans for marketing communication projects.
• To create and implement plans for delivering online business-to-business adviser advertisements and communication materials with appropriate resources.
• To deliver material to promote Transact via social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Manage frequent reviews of all marketing materials, both online and offline.
• Ensure that the financial promotion process is followed.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver a monthly staff newsletter, as well as other internal communications and displays.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide competition insights and reports on platform market trends, as well as conduct annual adviser and client customer research.
• To create content for platform award submissions that communicates the most recent platform advances and demonstrates Transact’s market leadership.
• Assist with the delivery of adviser events as needed and attend in person to ensure a seamless professional delivery.
• Examine the work of other marketing team members and provide feedback to help them grow.
• Create communications and announcements for internal customers.
• Deliver internal communications that have been placed to our intranet site.
• Manage different stakeholders while delivering internal communications.

Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 10 years of relevant marketing experience in financial services. You will have extensive experience with copywriting, print, and other marketing responsibilities, such as competitor analysis and insights, preferably in the life, pension, and investment sectors. Working understanding of the platform market is useful.

You will have prior expertise managing people and a strong interest in the development of others.

You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
