Join Our Team: Estates Maintenance Mechanical Technical Specialist

Dorset Healthcare’s Estates and Facilities Directorate is excited to invite applications for two dedicated and self-motivated Estates Maintenance Mechanical Technical Specialists to join our team.

Based at our modern office and workshop facilities in Wareham, you will be part of a skilled team that delivers pre-planned maintenance and repair services across a wide range of Trust premises in Dorset, including Community Hospitals, Health Centres, Mental Health Units, and Administrative Buildings.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the building and electrical operational teams, as well as the Estates Leadership, Compliance, and Minor New Works teams. Your responsibilities will involve applying your installation, maintenance, technical diagnosis, and fault-finding skills to a variety of equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

The work is diverse, physical, and often challenging. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a demanding maintenance environment and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work.
