Our Finance Graduate Apprenticeship is a five-year structured programme in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University, offering flexible, work-based learning. This apprenticeship blends academic study, practical training, and professional development, culminating in a Master’s in Accountancy and ACCA qualification.

Your Role as a Finance Graduate Apprentice

As a Finance Graduate Apprentice, you will gain practical experience by supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations and key projects. You will develop financial expertise and industry insights while contributing to critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements).
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional projects.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • School Leavers: Minimum 5 Highers at grade B or above, including Maths or Accountancy.
  • College Applicants: Minimum A at HNC level in an Accountancy/Finance-related subject.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Recruitment Process

Process: Initial video interview, followed by an on-site assessment centre.
