Are you a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse passionate about recovery-focused care? We have an exciting opportunity for an established Community Mental Health Nurse to join our exceptional North East Hampshire Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS).

About Our Team:

We are a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, and recovery-based community mental health service, dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment and interventions. Our focus is firmly on promoting recovery and independence, working towards structured Care Pathways that ensure the best outcomes for the people who use our service. We are fully engaged in an exciting Community Mental Health Transformation Programme, pioneering innovative approaches to meet the diverse mental health needs of our community.

The Opportunity:

As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be instrumental in:

Undertaking comprehensive assessments for new referrals to our service.

Managing an allocated caseload of existing service users.

Delivering low-level psychological interventions.

Liaising with other professionals to coordinate care under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).

Safely administering and managing medication in a community setting, alongside physical health monitoring.

Providing clear information on health promotion and psychoeducation to service users.

Offering educational input and supervision to nursing students and junior colleagues.

Working flexibly and collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.

Dynamically assessing risk and working diligently to safeguard our clients at all times.

Operating from our Team Base and conducting visits within people’s homes.

About You:

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse who can demonstrate:

High levels of commitment, motivation, and a comprehensive knowledge of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Excellent communication skills, essential for both service user engagement and professional collaboration.

The ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

A full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential due to the community nature of this role.
