We’re looking for Community Nurses to join our Cambridge East and South City Nursing Team. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or residential settings, playing a vital role in improving health outcomes across our community.

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from registered nurses (RGNs) who:
Have experience working in a community setting
Are passionate about delivering high standards of care
Are flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented
Can assess patients and develop tailored care plans
Have the ability to mentor and support student nurses and care workers
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are committed to empowering patients and carers to be active participants in their care
Key Responsibilities
Deliver holistic, evidence-based nursing care to patients in their homes
Promote independence and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions
Act as a key advocate for patients, ensuring their voice is central to the care process
Contribute to risk assessments and ensure health and safety standards are maintained
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, attending case reviews and MDT meetings
Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with NMC and Trust guidelines
Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues and students
Identify and report any new or changing risks promptly
Travel Requirements
Please note: This role requires independent travel across the county to meet scheduled appointments. You must:
Hold a full UK driving licence*
Have access to a personal vehicle
Be able to travel reliably – public transport will not meet service needs
