We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and motivated individual to join our Learning Disability, Transition & Autism Social Work Team at Westmorland and Furness Council. Based in South Lakes and Eden, you’ll be working directly with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, and supporting young people in their journey into adulthood.

Your Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will:

  • Conduct holistic assessments and reviews for individuals and their carers
  • Co-create person-centred, self-directed support plans
  • Apply relevant legislation to safeguard and empower individuals
  • Work collaboratively across agencies and with families
  • Engage actively in team meetings and service improvements

You’ll be making a real difference while building strong professional skills in a supportive, creative environment.
