Loughborough Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced A Level Mathematics Teacher to join our growing academic team. With Sixth Form applications at an all-time high, we’re expanding to meet the demand for high-quality education in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Year 12 and Year 13 A Level Maths students
Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and implement targeted interventions
Contribute to the department’s continued academic success and outstanding outcomes
Use innovative teaching methods, including digital technologies and remote delivery, to meet modern learning needs
What We’re Looking For
A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field
Extensive teaching experience in post-16 education (ideally with Edexcel/Pearson specification)
A teaching qualification is preferred, or a willingness to gain one
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Passion for inclusive teaching and supporting learner success
Confidence using digital platforms for remote or blended learning
