Octagon is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager, Hospitality to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a global scale, managing a major client sponsorship for the Champions League Final. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional in-venue hospitality experiences at a prestigious sporting event, the Champions League Final at Allianz Arena on May 31, 2025.

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and delivering in-venue hospitality spaces at high-profile sporting events. As the Hospitality Senior Account Manager, you will oversee budget management, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for two key hospitality spaces: one in-venue lounge at the stadium (for a premium B2B experience) and a pre-match B2C experience at the official hotel.

What We’re Looking For in a Candidate:

A focused, performance-driven individual who thrives under pressure and is comfortable working within a global team, meeting tight deadlines.

Expertise in sports, entertainment, and sponsorship marketing, with a strong preference for football experience.

5+ years of relevant experience in hospitality or events management.

Leadership skills to supervise a small team and take initiative from start to finish.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to find creative solutions.

Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Flexible, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work weekends.

Willingness to travel for the event, including occasional nights and weekends.

Passion for teamwork and supporting colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Account Director with the management and delivery of the B2B in-venue hospitality lounge at Allianz Arena.

Lead planning and operations for the B2C pre-match experience at the official hotel.

Handle account administration, including client reporting, status documents, brand approvals, and logistics.

Ensure timely execution of all project tasks, meeting both internal and external deadlines.

Coordinate activation plans, client approvals, and manage the logistics for event suppliers (e.g., hotels, restaurants, AV, production).

Provide financial support for client budgets, invoicing, and supplier payments.

Collaborate across departments (studio, creative, legal, finance) to ensure seamless event delivery.

Support other motorsport events with the team, contributing to the wider agency’s success.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a fast-paced role in sports or entertainment event management.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

Ability to build rapport with people at all levels of an organization.

Team player with a passion for helping others succeed.

Flexibility to travel, particularly in late May.
