Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse – CTAC Service (Fife Health and Social Care Partnership)
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse to join the CTAC Service within the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. This role will be based in a treatment room environment within General Practice in the West area of Fife.
As a Treatment Room Nurse, you will provide essential care and treatment within a GP surgery setting, including wound management, venepuncture, compression bandages, doppler assessments, injections, and other evolving nursing tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring that clinical care meets high quality and safety standards, delivering person-centred care to individuals across Fife.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care in a treatment room setting.
- Providing wound management, venepuncture, and a range of nursing procedures.
- Collaborating with the multi-professional team to deliver excellent patient care.
- Ensuring clinical care and quality standards are met in accordance with national guidelines.
- Adapting to evolving nursing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in a treatment room or community nursing environment.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and adaptability.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Ability to work flexibly across various treatment rooms in Fife as part of the CTAC service.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Pro-rata based on part-time hours.
- A requirement of this role is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment.
- Flexibility is required, as you may be asked to cover other treatment rooms within Fife.
