Job Description

Overview

As a Test Equipment Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of test systems used in the manufacture, engineering, systems testing, and qualification of aviation products and components.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and technologies, working closely with engineering and production teams to maintain and improve test system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve failures on test systems across mechanical, electrical, and electronic disciplines.

Identify and recommend design changes to improve reliability, performance, and system efficiency.

Work in both engineering and production environments, managing multiple tasks and adapting to shifting priorities.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Apply technical knowledge to support policies and strategies, developing expertise in specialized areas.

Use business understanding to align work with organizational priorities and integrate effectively with other teams.

Exercise decision-making within defined procedures; escalate more complex issues to senior team members.

Provide technical guidance to junior team members and communicate technical information clearly to colleagues and customers.

For customer-facing aspects of the role, act as a key point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and serving as the technical interface.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering discipline.

Practical experience in manufacturing processes, production equipment, or test system support.

Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Ability to problem-solve effectively, adapt to priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
