Job Overview
The Test Equipment Maintenance Engineer provides comprehensive technical support across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems used in the manufacture, testing, and qualification of aviation products and components. This role operates within the Manufacturing Engineering team and covers a broad range of products, technologies, and test systems throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve failures on test systems.
Work across engineering and production environments to support manufacturing processes.
Identify design improvements to enhance reliability and performance of test systems.
Manage multiple tasks, respond to changing priorities, and deliver commitments on time.
Broaden technical knowledge in own discipline and support specialized technical areas as required.
Understand key business drivers and apply this understanding to achieve work objectives.
Make decisions within a defined framework and consult senior team members for issues outside established procedures.
Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills; may lead junior team members.
For customer-facing roles, serve as the technical interface, explaining complex information clearly.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Basic experience in Manufacturing & Production Processes and Equipment.
Technical knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults effectively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
