Teaching Assistant – Warden Park Primary Academy
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 29.5 hours per week (including 2 hours of midday supervision)
Contract: Permanent, Term-time only
Salary: Support Grade C (£24,027 – £24,404 FTE), pro rata (£16,062.12 – £16,314.15)
Closing Date: Thursday, 13 March 2025
Interview Date: TBC
About the Role
Warden Park Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning in a vibrant and nurturing environment. This role includes 29.5 hours per week, with 2 hours dedicated to midday supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 within a mainstream classroom.
- Deliver targeted intervention programmes to small groups.
- Assist children in accessing the curriculum effectively.
- Promote positive behaviour management strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE level or above).
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative.
