About the Role

Wimbledon High School is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Sports Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our dynamic and high-performing Sports Department across both the Junior and Senior Schools.

Reporting to the Director of Sport, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of the school’s sports program by managing the administration and logistics behind training sessions, fixtures, trips, and events.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the logistics for sports fixtures and training schedules

Communicate key information to staff, pupils, parents, and external providers

Organize major events such as Sports Day, awards evenings, and sports scholarship assessments

Liaise with coaches, transport providers, and internal teams including Estates, Admissions, and Marketing

Maintain accurate administrative records and ensure timely updates to schedules and communications

About You

We are looking for a proactive and reliable administrator who is:

Highly organized and detail-focused

Skilled in IT systems and confident using digital tools

An excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure with professionalism and discretion

A collaborative team player with a genuine interest in sport and education
