We’re looking for a motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical support to our Neonatal Nursing team. We’re searching for someone with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), leadership abilities, and clinical expertise within the neonatal care field.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care at all levels: intensive care, high dependency, and special care.
Ensure the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality care for both infants and families.
Work closely with families to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Promote family-centered care and create a welcoming, safe environment.
Advocate for infants and families, offering appropriate information and support services.
Start discharge planning from admission, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, other departments, and community services.
Continuously develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge to provide effective, holistic, evidence-based care.
Stay informed on the safe use and handling of equipment within the department and community, reviewing relevant policies and standards.
Support and mentor others in completing neonatal competency packs.
Facilitate transfers of critically ill infants to specialist centers, coordinating with other hospitals.
Participate in multi-professional resuscitation teams during deliveries.
