About the Role
The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lecturer in Equine Dentistry and Head & Neck Surgery to join our specialist team at the Dick Vet Equine Hospital.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the largest and most advanced equine hospital in Scotland. You will be involved in the delivery of specialist referral services in equine dentistry and head & neck surgery, supported by a multidisciplinary team and cutting-edge surgical and diagnostic facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert equine dental and head & neck surgical services in a referral hospital setting.
Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical training.
Participate in the delivery of clinical services in rural and remote areas across Scotland.
Collaborate with research colleagues within the Roslin Institute and the wider University to develop a research portfolio.
Take part in the emergency surgery rota.
About You
Expertise in equine dentistry and general equine surgery.
Membership (or eligibility for membership) of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Specialist qualifications in Equine Dentistry (DipEVDC or DipAVDC) and Equine Surgery (DipECVS or DipACVS).
A postgraduate research degree is desirable but not essential.
Must meet current English language requirements for UK employment.
