Staff Nurse – Neuro Rehabilitation

The Marie Therese Neurological Rehabilitation Unit currently has a vacancy for a dedicated and professional staff nurse to join our friendly team. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate registered nurse to become part of our neuro rehabilitation unit at St Michael’s Hospital in Hayle.
Our unit has 12 rehabilitation beds, providing care for patients recovering from neurosurgery, head injuries, neurological conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and long-term conditions like Multiple Sclerosis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with a passion for delivering high standards of care while showing compassion and kindness to both our patients and colleagues. As part of a multidisciplinary team, we work together towards a shared vision to help our patients regain maximum independence in their recovery.

Main Duties of the Job:
Undertake and document comprehensive nursing assessments, including planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of evidence-based care for a diverse patient group.
Provide care with minimal supervision and be accountable for both the care delivered and any omissions.
Supervise and teach junior staff, students, and non-registered staff members.
Be accountable for any care delegated to others and ensure its proper delivery.
Serve as a role model, demonstrating empathy and compassion while working as part of the multidisciplinary team.
