Working within the Harrogate and Ripon Community Treatment Team, you will play a key role in delivering assessment, intervention, and recovery-focused support to adults with a wide range of mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice & Caseload Management
Manage your own caseload, delivering assessments, care coordination, and interventions
Conduct triage, comprehensive assessments, and risk management planning
Provide evidence-based care tailored to individual needs
Team Contribution & Leadership
- Support junior colleagues through supervision, mentoring, and coaching
Contribute to a positive and learning-focused multidisciplinary environment
Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Help shape personalised care pathways alongside the wider team
Partnership & Collaborative Working
- Work closely with service users, families, and carers
Collaborate with health services, social care, and voluntary organisations
Promote recovery-oriented and holistic care approaches
Support safeguarding practices in line with national guidance
Service Development & Improvement
- Engage in co-production and innovation within the team
Contribute to audits, governance, and continuous improvement work
Support delivery of responsive, accessible, and high-quality community services
About the Service
The Harrogate and Ripon Community Treatment Team provides mental health support across Harrogate, Ripon, and surrounding areas. The service focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within the community, helping individuals maintain independence and improve wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Current registration with a recognised professional body
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Minimum 18 months post-qualification experience (including preceptorship completion)
Teaching/mentorship qualification (or willingness to achieve)
Competency in literacy, numeracy, and IT
Experience
- Working with individuals experiencing mental ill health
Collaborative working with families, carers, and partner organisations
Delivering supervision or mentoring students/staff
Working within multidisciplinary teams
Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of evidence-based mental health practice
Knowledge of Care Programme Approach and risk management
Understanding of safeguarding and legal frameworks
Awareness of governance and clinical standards
Ability to communicate effectively in complex and sensitive situations
Additional Requirements
- This role requires a DBS check
Overseas applicants must provide a criminal record certificate
Applicants must hold valid UK professional registration
Practical Information
- Ability to travel across the locality is essential
