Job Description

About Eden Ward

Eden Ward is a busy and supportive ward specialising in elective gynaecology and urology care. We provide post-operative care for day-case and overnight patients, alongside a 20-bed inpatient unit caring for patients undergoing major surgery, emergency admissions, and selected medical cases.

Our approach is strongly multidisciplinary, with patient dignity, safety, and compassion at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for someone who brings energy, professionalism, and resilience—and who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while remaining calm and patient-focused.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to work within a skilled and welcoming team, delivering high-quality care to patients at key points in their treatment journey.

You will be involved in:

  • Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to gynaecology and urology patients
  • Supporting patients through post-operative recovery and discharge planning
  • Working collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff
  • Advocating for patients’ dignity, comfort, and informed choice
  • Responding confidently to changing clinical priorities
  • Contributing ideas to improve ward processes and patient experience
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and upholding clinical standards
  • You will be encouraged to share ideas, challenge practice constructively, and help shape how care is delivered—always with quality and respect at the forefront.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Works well under pressure and adapts to changing clinical demands
  • Values teamwork and contributes positively to ward culture
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and respect
  • Is motivated to learn and develop within a specialist clinical area
  • Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of experience, we welcome individuals who want to make a genuine difference.
