About the Role

We are seeking a Sourcing and Supply Coordinator to join our Campus Commerce team, which delivers catering, retail, and related services across the University. This is a varied and impactful role, where you will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services that support our commercial operations.

You will work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and procurement partners to ensure value for money, quality, and sustainable outcomes. The role also includes supervising an Administration Assistant and acting as the first point of contact for purchasing queries across Campus Commerce.

Hybrid working (up to 2 days per week from home) is available, with your main base at the University’s Whiteknights campus.

Key Responsibilities

Source and purchase goods and services to support catering, retail, and wider Campus Commerce operations.

Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships, including monitoring performance and resolving issues.

Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies.

Support tendering processes, supplier onboarding, and compliance checks.

Maintain supplier data, catalogues, and purchase-to-pay (P2P) systems.

Analyze purchasing data to support forecasting and operational planning.

Supervise an Administration Assistant and collaborate with Procurement, senior managers, and operational teams.

About You

The successful candidate will bring:

Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Analytical ability to interpret purchasing data and market trends.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

A collaborative approach and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
