About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Research Development Officer to join our Research Development & Initiatives team, which supports academic staff in securing research and knowledge exchange funding.
In this role, you will primarily support teams in the Science and Medical areas, providing advice, guidance, and hands-on support with funding applications.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing budgets for research and knowledge exchange applications.
Ensuring applications meet funder policies, regulations, and University requirements.
Supporting award and contract agreements.
Managing multiple projects and deadlines, both internal and external.
About You
You will have:
A degree or equivalent experience.
Strong skills in budgeting, costings, and contracts.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with academic staff and external funders.
The ability to manage and priorities multiple projects independently and as part of a team.
