About the Role

The University of Sussex is seeking a Senior Postgraduate Admissions Coordinator to support the effective and professional management of postgraduate taught admissions.

Working as part of a team of three Senior Coordinators, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day postgraduate admissions process.

Ensure applications are processed quickly, fairly, and accurately.

Make and check admissions decisions.

Provide guidance to Admissions Coordinators and Academic Reviewers.

Lead on specific tasks within the admissions cycle.

Support, manage, and motivate colleagues to deliver an excellent applicant experience, from application to enrolment.

You will join a busy and supportive Admissions Office of around 40 staff, covering undergraduate, postgraduate, and scholarship admissions, led by the Associate Director, Global Admissions.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in postgraduate admissions (essential).

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.

Customer-focused, with a friendly and professional manner.

Skilled at working both collaboratively in a team and independently on your own initiative.

Familiar with UK, EU, and international qualifications, as well as UKVI and Student Visa processes.

Comfortable working with applicants from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Knowledge of fee status assessment would be an advantage.
