About the role
The Department of English, Media & Culture is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer in English Literature. We welcome applicants with expertise in English Literature, and we particularly encourage applications from those with interdisciplinary backgrounds, as our programmes are closely aligned with critical theory and cultural histories.
Teaching responsibilities may include modules such as:
Literary Forms and Genres
Literary Theory and Practice
Places and Spaces
Postcolonialism and Critical Race Theories
Ecocriticism
The successful candidate will also supervise undergraduate dissertation projects and may have opportunities to contribute to postgraduate programmes, including the MA in English and MA in Cultural Studies.
