About the role
Culverhay Surgery is inviting applications from enthusiastic and compassionate Salaried GPs who are looking to join a well-established, friendly and forward-thinking practice. We are based on the edge of the Cotswolds, with three fully integrated sites serving the Wotton-under-Edge area and excellent transport links to Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Our team and practice
Culverhay Surgery is a long-established training practice with:
- 4 GP partners (including a Practice Manager partner)
- 13 salaried GPs
- GP trainers and GP registrars
- Medical and nursing students
- Advanced nursing team including nurse prescribers
- Senior clinical pharmacist and pharmacy technicians
- Frailty care coordinators, paramedic, social prescriber and counsellors
- Highly experienced reception, secretarial and administrative teams focused on reducing GP workload

Main responsibilities
As a Salaried GP, you will:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care as an autonomous practitioner
- Deliver services in line with the GMS contract and local agreements
- Maintain professional standards in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice
- Contribute to clinical governance, QOF, audit and service development
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Support education, training and supervision within the practice
- Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive working culture
Person specification
Essential eligibility
- Full GMC registration
- Inclusion on the National Performers List
- Eligibility to practise independently in the UK
- Appropriate medical defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
Qualifications
- Fully qualified GP
- MRCGP
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent (JCPTGP / VTS)
Experience
- Experience working in UK primary care
- Ongoing commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)
- Experience of QOF, clinical audit and medicines management
- Working knowledge of the GMS contract
Desirable
- Experience of Integrated Care Board (ICB) initiatives
- Pre-employment checks and sponsorship
- Appointment is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975
- Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates
