About the Role
We are seeking a Research Fellow to join an MRC-funded transdisciplinary hub focused on reducing the carbon impact of healthcare. This role will contribute to Sub-theme 3a: Safe Reuse of Medical Products (Infection Prevention & Control).
Your research will explore and evaluate sustainable approaches to infection prevention and control (IPC) that lower carbon emissions while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.
You will work closely with a dedicated sub-theme team, including Professor Mahmood Bhutta, Dr James Price, Jenni Wilburn (BSMS), and Professor Jennie Wilson (UWL), and will receive full support throughout the project.
About You
You hold (or are close to completing) a PhD in a field relevant to infection prevention & control in healthcare, or you have equivalent research experience in this area.
You have strong skills in independent research, workload management, and collaboration.
You are proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and committed to contributing to impactful, applied healthcare research.
