About the Opportunity

Paisley Vets for Pets is welcoming an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a warm, established, and genuinely supportive practice. This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys delivering high-quality clinical care while building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.

The Practice

Our modern small animal surgery is fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and facilities that support a varied and engaging caseload. The team shares particular interests in feline and rabbit medicine, with opportunities to support and expand in-house surgical procedures.

Your Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care
• Support consultations, diagnostics, theatre, and inpatient care
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary veterinary team
• Contribute to clinical standards, efficiency, and patient wellbeing

Manage your workload effectively using organisation and planning skills

Working Pattern

• Full-time or part-time options available
• Up to 40 hours per week, rota-based shifts
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–2:00pm)
• 20-minute consultations with staggered blocks and built-in catch-up time

What We’re Looking For

You will be:

• A Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience
• Confident, organised, and calm in a busy clinical environment
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care and client service
• Open to developing a specialist nursing interest or consulting role

Our practice is located in central Paisley, with excellent public transport links. Glasgow city centre is just 20 minutes by train or 30 minutes by car, offering access to a vibrant arts, music, and food scene.
