About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team at The Bridge in Wells, Somerset. This is a full-time, permanent Band 6 position where you will play an important role in leading, supervising, and supporting staff while delivering high-quality patient care.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload, supporting team activities, and ensuring the effective supervision of staff. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and support staff in day-to-day duties
Manage and plan your own workload as well as team activities
Provide leadership within the team, including teaching and mentorship
Recognize and manage challenging situations in a calm, professional manner
Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and people at all levels
Essential Criteria
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to lead a team and supervise staff effectively
Ability to handle complex or challenging situations calmly and professionally
Demonstrated teaching, mentorship, and teamwork skills
